Steve Storms

Steve is what we like to call a "seasoned" musician. That is code for an older dude. Steve is so old that he was 14 when he first saw The Jimi Hendrix Experience perform in 1967. First inspired by the The Beatles, Steve picked up a guitar at age 12, and has not put it down since.

Steve played an important role in the history of music in the 2nd half the 20th century - he actually participated in all of it, and is the only guy we know who played "Tales of Brave Ulysses" while performing with his first band at the 1968 Democratic convention in Chicago.

Steve derives much joy in playing guitar, dobro and singing and composing tunes with the Gravy Boys, and he believes that this music truly expresses the sounds of his soul.
